Where

The Nazzaro Tevere-Farfa Regional Nature Reserve is a protected area located in the Tevere Valley in the municipalities of Nazzano, Torrita Tiberina and Montopoli di Sabina, 40 km north of Rome on the Tiberina road. Its name derives from three natural elements of this territory: the Tevere River, its tributary Farfa and Lake Nazzano. Water is thus the protagonist of the place, surrounded by lush, green vegetation inhabited by a rich variety of birds typical of wetlands.
