Irma Toquero was born in Barcelona, graduated in Psychology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2012) and has a postgraduate degree in Sociology from the New University of Lisbon (2015). She is a poet and Art Therapist/Psychotherapist by SPAT (Portuguese Society of Art Therapy). She has experience with energising groups as a volunteer teacher of a creative writing course at CAIS Association (2014), as a volunteer technician of the Therapeutic Theatre Group at Júlio de Matos Hospital (2019), as a facilitator of Art-Therapy workshops in the Crisis Intervention Programme of SPAT and also conducts private art-psychotherapy consultations.
